Advanced Costume Design
​(THEA 460)

Class Description

Goals & Objectives: This studio class builds upon the core skills for costume design students from THEA 260 (Costume Design). This includes but not limited to historical & inspirational research, rendering, swatching/ textile identification, figure drawing, & professional presentation skills to generate a finished costume design with accompanying paperwork. Students apply these tools to the creation & implementation of designs based on assigned texts which will expand the student’s existing portfolio.
